It was a bold idea to build a library that was the first of its kind in the country.

To include visionary partners like public schools, museums, universities, a health care organization, a national arts and culture forum, environmental groups and others, and then invite everybody in town to be part of the planning process.

Now, what takes place inside is what counts as we share experiences and ideas. Because after all, a building can be stunning and innovative, but it takes the ingenuity, passion and investment of people to bring it ALIVE.

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center Foundation (LLLCF) is a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit, public benefit corporation created for the principal purpose of establishing and supporting the construction, operations, programs, funding and other business of the Lafayette Library and Learning Center.

Located on the Mezzanine level of the Library and Learning Center, access to the Foundation offices is through Parking Garage Level 2, Suite 214.

Now is the moment to BECOME A LIBRARY CHAMPION!
